Workshop Presenters
Paula Heinricher, MA, OTR
Paula Heinricher is an Occupational Therapist with over 12 years professional experience. She has worked most extensively with the pediatric population. Her experiences include working in the schools providing services to students from the preschool through middle school ages. She has also worked with children (birth to 3) and their families in their homes through early intervention programs. She has treated children in an outpatient setting working primarily on handwriting and sensory integration concerns. She has used the Handwriting Without Tears® program with children as young as 2 ½ in early intervention, in preschool, and with students in both regular and special education settings working on print and cursive writing. Her love and advocacy for the program had prompted the school district in which she most recently provided services to adopt the curriculum as their only handwriting program. Paula is currently a National Workshop Presenter for HWT. She also tutors children in her local community who are having difficulty with handwriting.
Paula also holds a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is certified in Sensory Integration Therapy.
