About Training
HWT Sponsored Workshops
Each year, Handwriting Without Tears® presents hundreds of professional development training workshops throughout the U.S. and Canada. The workshops are fun and engaging. Educators are inspired by the dynamic presenters and excited to start using the ideas and materials presented.
Handwriting Without Tears workshops are effective for anyone who wants to make handwriting easy and fun for students. Participants come from diverse professional backgrounds including occupational therapy, teaching, and school administration. Parents often attend as part of a home school program or to supplement their child’s school curriculum. All workshop participants must be 18 years or older. Children and infants may not be brought into workshops.
We sponsor three of our own workshops:

Plan Your Own Training
Our training is also available to schools, districts, and other organizations that provide professional development. We have a team of experienced Workshop Coordinators who work with sponsors to customize each workshop to meet the attendees' needs. Learn more about Planning Your Own Workshop.
All workshop attendees are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance for contact hours.
